ALERT: Fraudulent Bank Request Notification - Beware of Scams

We want to make you aware of a recent phishing attempt targeting our customers.
It has come to our attention that a malicious party has been sending fraudulent emails that resemble our official communication. These emails falsely claim that Vast Inc. has updated its banking information and include an attached letter instructing recipients to update payment details. Please be advised that these emails are not from Vast Inc. and should not be trusted.
Our banking information, email addresses, or phone number have not changed, and we have not sent any communications requesting updates to payment information. To protect your business and ensure the security of your transactions with us, please follow these precautions:
- Verify the Sender: Always check the sender's email address carefully. Official correspondence always comes from an email ending in “vastvideogames.com.”
- Be aware of variations of our email such as a missing letter (like “s” in “games”), ends in .US, or other email addresses you do not regularly correspond with.
- Save Our Contacts: Ensure you have saved our various departments email addresses in your system to help flag emails from outside our network.
- Report and Block: If you have verified that the email has come from a fraudulent email address, immediately report and block the email.
- Do Not Open Suspicious Attachments: Avoid opening any attachments or clicking on links from unexpected or unverified emails. If it does not look like a document you would receive from Vast Inc, it probably is an attempt at phishing. Further, do not click on any logo in a suspicious email.
- Contact Us Directly: If you have received any message claiming to be from Vast Inc. that seems suspicious, please contact us directly at accounting@vastvideogames.com.
