NINTENDO SWITCH 2 LAUNCH IS FAST APPROACHING!

We are very excited that the launch is just around the corner. There are several launch day titles arriving for Switch 2 as well as ton of new features to revolutionize the way we play our games.

While we are waiting, let’s take a small sneak peak of what’s to come with the new system and let’s get familiar with how to use them!

Exploring the Switch 2:

First and foremost, with a new console comes cool new features. The Switch 2 hardware boasts a very impressive 7.9” touch screen that supports HDR10 for vivid colors and deeper blacks as well as variable refresh rate up to 120hz in handheld mode.

Additionally, both Switch and Switch 2 cartridges can be played on the new system with some original Switch titles receiving a boost in performance with no modification due to the Switch 2’s more powerful GPU/CPU.

Some developers may patch older games to update graphics and performance on the new hardware as well as adding new features (TBD).

Just like its predecessor, the Switch 2 comes with a docking station for gaming on a larger screen. The new dock comes equipped with two (2) USB 2.0 slots for charging and accessories and a new HDMI output capable of 4K resolution output with a 120hz variable refresh rate (VRR) for select games.

Nintendo Switch 2 Joy Cons

The new Switch 2 joy cons are a breath of fresh air, utilizing powerful magnets to snap into place on both the system as well as the controller charging grip.

To remove them, simply press the detach button located on the back of unit. Very similar to the original Switch joy cons!

Joy Con 2 can now also be utilized as a mouse. Using gyroscope technology and tracking, this new feature will be best used for various games and navigation.

PLEASE NOTE:

Any additional orders cannot be combined with Switch 2 shipments and will be shipped at a later date.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

SEGA products will not be available for launch day. Due to delays in their shipment and logistics, they are not expecting to ship until the week of 6/12/2025.

Additionally, the Limited-Edition Switch 1 version of Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma has been pushed back to 6/20/2025.
