February 27th:

"Hello,

We are reaching out to keep everyone posted on the situation with Resident Evil Requiem quantities. As you may know, we were shorted on multiple SKUs and did not receive the Steelbook Deluxe edition for PS5.

At this time, our representative has reached out to us to notify us that shipments are currently listed as "missing" from the publisher. They are currently working with upper warehouse management to locate the missing product.

It was also brought to our attention that this is a widespread issue where multiple distributors and retailers have reported not receiving complete quantities and or missing product.

All orders are currently still listed as "Open" from the publisher and are not being cancelled.

If you need to make any adjustments to your preorder, just let us know. Otherwise, we will keep all orders open for now.

February 25th:

"We are reaching out with an update regarding your preorder of Resident Evil Requiem (Street Date: 2/27).

We were informed this morning that the shipment scheduled to arrive at our warehouse today was delayed due to inventory discrepancies and logistical issues at the manufacturer’s fulfillment center. Unfortunately, that means the product did not arrive as originally expected.

We’ve been told the product is being overnighted to us and is expected to arrive tomorrow. Assuming everything lands as scheduled, we will turn orders immediately upon receipt. If this timing change affects your plans and you’d like to adjust your shipping method, just let us know. We’re happy to accommodate and issue a revised invoice reflecting any freight changes.

We know how critical street-date launches are and this delay occurred outside of Vast’s control. We will provide another update as soon as we have more information.
