Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta Set for Switch 2 Weekend

Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4 is scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on Oct. 23, with pre-orders now available for the Standard Edition at $69.99. Ahead of release, Nintendo Switch 2 players can access the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta from Aug. 28 at 10:00 a.m. PT through Sept. 1 at 10:00 a.m. PT. The beta is available to pre-load and includes Multiplayer modes, a playable Campaign mission, Ground War and additional content. Players who sign in with an Activision Account during the Open Beta can keep eligible beta rewards associated with their Activision ID, access earned beta rewards when Modern Warfare 4 launches and continue using the same profile across multiple platforms. Cosmetic rewards are tied to beta level progression, including the “Through the Paces” Legendary Emblem at Player Level 4, “First Served” Weapon Charm at Level 8, “Meonjeo” Legendary Weapon Sticker at Level 12, “Last Charge” Legendary Calling Card at Level 16, “Dread Tiger” Operator Skin – Reece at Level 20, “Field Tested” Epic Spray at Level 23, “Beta Rights” Epic Loading Screen at Level 26 and “Beta Forged” ISO Nightshade Weapon Blueprint at Level 30. Player level, weapon unlocks and other in-beta progression will not carry over. Additional beta cosmetics include default items available immediately: three Emblems, three Calling Cards, one Spray and three Loading Screens. Other rewards are available through activities such as the Mobility Course Challenge and Combat Record, including classified charms, a classified Weapon Blueprint and an emblem. Online features require a Nintendo Switch Online membership, sold separately, along with a Nintendo Account and internet access.
