Nintendo Switch Online members received a September 1, 2026 update to the service’s classic game library, adding three titles to Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Classics on Nintendo Switch. The broader Nintendo Switch Online classic catalog includes selections from Super NES, Game Boy and NES for eligible members.

The new NES additions are Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom, IKARI WARRIORS and R.C. PRO-AM II. Ninja Gaiden III continues Ryu Hayabusa’s story, IKARI WARRIORS is the 1987 action shooter featuring Paul and Vince, and R.C. PRO-AM II is the 1992 RC-racing sequel with two-player racing across 24 tracks.

Access requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership, sold separately, and a Nintendo Account for online features. A free seven-day Nintendo Switch Online trial is available for eligible users and converts to a one-month auto-renewing membership unless canceled; the trial cannot be used for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack or by accounts with an active Individual or Family Membership.
