Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is set to launch Oct. 22 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2, bringing 12 motion-controlled sports to Wuhu Island. The game supports solo play and play with a friend, with options for local and online competition; online features require a Nintendo Switch Online membership and a Nintendo Account.

The new events include Thumb Wrestling, where players try to pin an opponent’s thumb for three seconds, and Skateboarding, which uses the Joy-Con 2 controller as a mouse for grinding, sliding and aerial tricks. Returning activities include Power Cruising, Archery, Bowling, Table Tennis, Boxing, Prop Plane, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball and Golf, with Jump Rope also available as a warm-up activity.

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is listed at $49.99, and a Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle is listed at $529.99. Additional accessories may be required for multiplayer mode and are sold separately; the title carries an ESRB rating of Everyone 10+ with Mild Violence.
