Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2, with a regular price of $49.99. The motion-control sports title supports solo play and multiplayer with a friend in person or online, with online features requiring a Nintendo Switch Online membership and a Nintendo Account; additional accessories may be required for multiplayer.

Set on Wuhu Island, the game includes 12 activities across land, sea and sky: boxing, table tennis, archery, tennis, volleyball, bowling, basketball, golf, thumb wrestling, skateboarding, power cruising and prop plane. Players use Joy-Con 2 controllers—and in most cases existing Joy-Con controllers—as sports equipment, while skateboarding specifically requires a Joy-Con 2 controller.

Beyond the sports lineup, players can explore the island at three times of day, collect Spocco Photos, search for hidden hibiscus flowers and progress through Island Crown challenges toward top-ranked competition. Character options include Sportsmates and Mii characters, with Spocco Points used to unlock rotating cosmetic items in the Item Center, including monthly specials; Nintendo is also offering a free seven-day Nintendo Switch Online trial for eligible accounts, and a Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort bundle is listed at $529.99.
