Splatoon™ Raiders for Nintendo Switch 2 is being positioned around customizable combat builds that combine tank types, gadgets, gadget parts, Relic Powers, weapons and weapon-specific powers to handle Salmonid encounters across the Spirhalite Islands. Players can choose between Power, Speed and Tactical tanks, with build strategy centered on experimenting, stacking duplicate powers for stronger effects and pairing complementary abilities, such as freezing enemies and then applying bonus damage to frozen targets.

The game also includes tools for managing frequent equipment changes. Equipped parts can be reviewed from the Gear menu by pressing the ZL Button on the Gadget page, while the ZL Button also provides useful functions across Weapon, Gadgets and Relic Powers screens. Players can save preferred loadouts to one of six Presets by pressing the – Button from the Gear screen.

Example build concepts include “Limitless Tether Wail,” which uses the Speed Tank and a Reel ’Em In part to group Salmonids for Tether Wail attacks; “Invincible Mitt,” which combines the Meteor Mitt with the Dash Bomb’s Next-Gadget Damage part; and “Floaty Explosion,” which pairs Floaty Fun with a Torqscrew, Shellacker and Bombloons.
