The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2, launching on Nov. 5, 2026, at a regular price of $59.99. The standalone adventure follows Link and Navi across Hyrule as they confront Ganondorf, explore dungeons, acquire weapons, solve puzzles and move between two time periods.

Originally released for Nintendo 64 in 1998, the new Nintendo Switch 2 version has been rebuilt with overhauled visuals, voiced cutscenes, expanded dialogue, symphonic orchestral music, and revised camera and movement controls. Additional content includes the Hall of Fallen Foes challenge mode and fairy thoughts hidden throughout Hyrule, while the system’s built-in microphone can be used to play the in-game ocarina by humming or using an instrument.

The release is supported by ZELDA NOTES, a game-specific service in the Nintendo Switch App for smart devices that offers daily accomplishments, location challenges, music-score creation and sharing, and an Ocarina of Time quiz. Nintendo Today! also features collectible digital cards inspired by The Legend of Zelda series, which marks its 40th anniversary in 2026.
