You have been summoned to watch the new Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Nintendo has released a new overview trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is being rebuilt for Nintendo Switch 2 and is scheduled to launch Nov. 5. The trailer highlights the game’s updated visuals and new gameplay elements as Link begins his journey beyond Kokiri Forest and across the kingdom of Hyrule.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version adds microphone-based ocarina interaction, allowing players to hum or play melodies Link has learned so the in-game ocarina responds. Other updates include the Hall of Fallen Heroes, where defeated monsters can be studied or challenged again, along with overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes with expanded dialogue, and symphonic orchestral music.

The game will support ZELDA NOTES through the Nintendo Switch App for compatible smart devices, with a Nintendo Account, persistent internet connection and compatible device required. Two new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time amiibo figures are planned for 2027 and will unlock special in-game masks, while existing Legend of Zelda series amiibo will provide useful rewards when used during gameplay.
